Bulldog Booster Club
The Bulldog Booster Club enables loyal fans of Bowie State University athletics to take the lead in supporting the long-term success of the 13 intercollegiate athletic programs. Focused on increasing financial support for BSU athletes, Booster Club members generate resources that expand the capacity of the Department of Athletics to recruit and retain talented, highly motivated student-athletes who can compete at the highest level within the CIAA and NCAA Division II.
Contributions made through the Booster Club will assist with strategic athletic and academic initiatives including:
- Improve development of facilities
- Support purchase of equipment and apparel
- Enhance academic support programs
- Support wellness programming, and social development
Bulldog Booster Club membership is open to all alumni and friends of Bowie State University passionate about supporting student-athletes and the BSU athletics programs.
Bowie State student-athletes are Bowie Bold and Bulldog Strong!
The BSU Department of Athletics benefits the entire university and the surrounding communities. As an auxiliary to the university, the Department of Athletics is responsible for all program fundraising.
Membership
Booster Club Membership has Privileges
The Bulldog Booster Club, an annual membership driven fundraising initiative, comes with benefits. In gratitude for your committed support, membership benefits are offered at two levels. The membership year is July 1 through June 30 and must be renewed annually to maintain benefits.
Membership Options
Supporters may select from two membership levels.
Black Level: $1,000
- (2) Football Tickets to all home games + parking and entrance into the President’s Circle
- (2) Basketball tickets to select CIAA home games and entrance into the President’s Circle
- Bulldog Pin
- Recognition on BBC website
- Recognition on the Leonidas S. James Physical Education Complex video board
Gold Level: $2,000
- (2) Football Tickets to all home games + parking and entrance into the President’s Circle
- (2) Basketball tickets to select CIAA home games and entrance into the President’s Circle
- (2) Bulldog Golf Classic tickets
- (2) CIAA Basketball Tournament general admission tickets

Success of BSU athletics is heavily reliant on the continued generosity of donors, booster club members, alumni and friends who annually support the Department of Athletics. Your help is needed to build and maintain the necessary resources for BSU student-athletes to succeed in competition and academics.
Tax Deduction
The amount of your contribution that is deductible for federal income tax purposes is limited to the excess of the amount contributed by you over the value of the goods and services you received. Your donation to join the Bulldog Booster Club may be 100% tax deductible if you decline the benefits that come with your membership.
NCAA Booster Club Compliance
